I am excited to share a little more about me and am looking forward to getting to know you.I have been working as a stylist since 2009.  I worked at a corporate salon for 11 years.  It was a great place to gain experience, attend educational opportunities and learn from some amazing mentors.  It is important my career goals align with my values: empower women, create an inclusive community and foster kindness.   With that in mind, I opened my own studio in July 2020.  This took a lot of courage and has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life.

I strive to continue to evolve as a stylist.  I started using Schwarzkoph color, carrying R+Co styling products, added the Amika blow dry brush for guests, became IBE hand tied extension certified, and invested in Thrivers Society to help with the business side of owning my own suite.  Education is a huge passion of mine. In the hair industry continuing your education is essential in helping my clients achieve their hair goals.

As a client of mine, you can trust that I will keep you informed on what will work best for your hair in regards to products, haircut, color or extension options.  It’s my job to make sure that you have the information needed to maintain your hair between appointments.  I want my clients to feel comfortable and confident in their routine, and am here to help them every step of the way.  I encourage questions, and am always just a message away!

In my free time, I am often with my family Alex, Henry, Aspen and Ernie – probably biking around the lakes.  We live in South Minneapolis and love our little community.  I love supporting local businesses in the area and like to keep close to home. 

StudioTM was created because I knew that there was more to a hair appointment than just a fast paced in and out service.  I pour my heart into my salon, and want my clients to feel valued, listened to and supported.

Here you will find that time slows down, and we take things a little slower.  I am not your high speed stylist and like to have a more laid back feel to your experience.  We have luxury amenities available including snacks and beverages and an iPad available for your viewing pleasure while you process or get your extensions applied.

I enjoy getting to learn about you and your passions, and love when I get to know your friends and family as well. The more people I can make feel confident and beautiful, the better.
